This Month
Kayata Market Kenya.
Ukambani is the traditional homeland of the Kamba people. Our first mini-crusade is planned for the 2nd to 7th February in Kayata with one of our friends, Bishop Charles Muyu, who is a respected leader in Kenya.
The Republic of Congo
Loutėtė is a remote city on the railway line between Brazzaville and Point Noir. We will be there between 24th and 28th of February.
Truck Preparation for Sudan
No truck could be better for a Sudan trip but we need to do routine maintenance and a few repairs in order to get the annual roadworthy certificate. The sound and lights need several repairs mainly to replace light bulbs in all our video lights and field lighting, and one loudspeaker needs some new drivers. Otherwise we are good to go.

Evangelism Quote.
"Do you want arguments for soul winning? Look up to Heaven, and ask yourself how sinners can ever reach those harps of gold and learn their everlasting song, unless they have someone to tell them of Jesus, who is mighty to save. But the best argument of all is to be found in the wounds of Jesus. You want to honour Him, you desire to put many crowns upon His head, and this you can best do by winning souls for Him. These are the spoils that He covets, these are the trophies for which He fights, these are the jewels that shall be His best adornment." Spurgeon

23rd January 2010
Introduction of Mini Crusades
Years ago, I helped New Life Mission build a platform trailer. Erik Bedsvaag used this for years as he powerfully preached the Gospel here in Kenya. It was portable with a very quick and easy assembly. Nairobi Lighthouse Church then used it every Sunday as they met in City Stadium. In 2009, the Church moved into their own building and I inherited the trailer, which makes an ideal, all round system for smaller crusades. Well, when I say smaller crusades, we can still reach huge crowds with this compact powerful unit. So this month (January), we have been hard at work repairing and renovating it, and getting everything ready so that we can begin a whole new series of outreaches! Having the second car has also been a huge help. We have fitted a tow bar on to the old Prado and are now ready for our first mini-crusade.
This will enable us to reach many more villages with the Gospel in between the six planned large-scale Crusades.
Our friends on the ground in Sudan write...”we are praying for you brother and the ministry. The only solution to the problems here is prayer". 2010 is a very important year for Sudan. Click the link to Read More. Please pray with us for the situation to remain stable enough to be able to preach the Gospel. We are aiming at doing 4 meetings May to August 2010.
The Republic of Congo. 24th -28th of February.
Planning is going ahead very well. We have been issued the required permits; our air tickets are already booked. Loutėtė is known for a limestone quarry providing limestone material for the local cement industry.
Please remember us in prayer as we plan and step out to take the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Gospel of His Grace to these remote places. It cost God everything! We go with a message of great value, a message that changes lives. I feel an urgency to step up the pace and run like never before.
Thank you everyone for your love and support,
Roger & Shireen West.
